The Industrial Attachment Office (IAO) of HKSYU recently hosted the “HKSYU Internship Partners New Year Get-together,” celebrating the strong relationships with internship partners from the Department of Counselling and Psychology and the Department of Social Work. These partners mainly are NGOs, social enterprises, and educational institutions. Certificates of Appreciation were presented to employers at the event.
This gathering served as a platform for HKSYU academics and industry partners to meet and network in a relaxed atmosphere. It also provided students from the two departments with a valuable opportunity to engage in conversations with industry professionals. Additionally, twelve students were honoured with the Outstanding Internship Award, recognizing those who exhibited exemplary performance during their internships.
Dr Jason Chow, Vice President (University Administration) of HKSYU, extended a warm welcome to all guests and shared his own internship experience during his studies, emphasising its significance for his personal growth.
