On October 1, HKSYU held a flag-raising ceremony on campus to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The ceremony was presided over by Dr Francis Cheung, Vice Chairman of Board of Governors; Professor Danny Wong, Chairman of HKSYU Council; Mr George Lung, Board of Governors member; Dr David Pun, Board of Governors member; Dr Michael Wu, member of HKSYU Council; Dr Hu Fai-chung, Acting President; Professor Catherine Sun, Senior Vice President; and other members of HKSYU senior management. Heads of academic and administrative departments, faculty members and students were also present.
