In 1999, Ms Yolanda Ng graduated from Shue Yan’s Department of Journalism and Communication, and her work over the years has been closely intertwined with the media. In 2026, as a member of the Board of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, Ms Ng remains dedicated to promoting local culture. In an exclusive interview with Shue Yan Newsletter, she shared that the HKSYU founders’ perseverance in education, dedication to scholarship, and profound love for the world deeply influenced her approach to life. This has inspired her to contribute to her alma mater, Shue Yan, whenever possible, with the hope that the university motto, "Cultivating virtues of benevolence; broadening horizon and knowledge" (敦仁博物), will continue to radiate deep compassion and inspire everyone in the years to come.
