Alumnus Keyman Ma graduated from the Department of Sociology at Shue Yan in 1993. Over the years, he has worked as a sports commentator, earning widespread recognition for his distinct on-screen presence and sharp analytical skills. In an interview with Shue Yan Newsletter, he shared that sports inevitably involve "playing against the odds." He noted that his time studying at Shue Yan trained him to handle such adversity: "Until the final whistle blows, you must stay confident, believing that you can level the score or even beat your opponent."
